Nuovi driver Nvidia 195.36.08
ATTENZIONE: LEGGERE QUI !!
Stavo già dimenticando la mitica
procedura, erano mesi che non si smuoveva niente (almeno per i 64 bit).
Segnalo i nuovi 195.36.08 che ho appena messo sulla mia Debian squeeze amd64, non ho ancora avuto modo di testarli ma la procedura è andata a buon fine.
Si rivede l’odiosa segnalazione sul gcc incompatibile, stavolta in uso la versione 4.4 e l’installer chiede la 4.3, ho dato skip senza passare alcun parametro

# On GPUs with VDPAU feature set A, enhanced VDPAU’s handling of some corrupted or incorrectly formatted MPEG-1/2 streams. This solves a reported issue with “0testbad.mpg”.
# Fixed a bug in the VDPAU video mixer that caused chroma aberrations, and corruption in the right-hand few columns of pixels, when post- processing video surfaces with widths not an exact multiple of 4 pixels.

Pare che questi driver siano affetti da un grave bug che coinvolgerebbe le ventole !!
I link potrebbero essere per questo disabilitati, evitare di installarli finché non sarà rilasciato un fix.
