For the past few months I have a Vivo X70 Pro+ smartphone that immediately impressed me with materials quality and performance.
Although it was equipped with the new OriginOS interface, I foolishly continued to use Android 11 with the quick change function and found Origin to be too strange and colorful.
I had known for a long time about the new version coming but kept looking in vain in the standard updates section.
Vivo X70 Pro+ OTA Update
Yesterday I noticed that among the experimental versions there was 7GB update that pointed to PD2145B_A_5.1.3 OriginOS Ocean release.
I immediately switched from Android to Origin and let the upgrade run overnight.
Amazing!! Everything fluidly & proportioned and with a series of innovative Widgets.
In Ocean 2.0 I no longer see the Android revert possibility but I don’t miss it.

The pre-installed animated wallpapers played at 120Hz in high resolution are breathtaking, far better than the ones I had on the Pixel 4 XL.
There are many dedicated OriginOs Ocean pages so I also created my video.
It’s only the first few days of use but I’m already fine, I recommend the very elegant dark theme (usually I don’t like it but it’s really good here).
From a longtime fan of Android stock/Nova I have now become a fan of OriginOS.
