Device/Routers
Today I opened and installed my new router. For many years I have been connected to Wind3 4G+ with a TP-Link Archer MR600 and I decided to make this upgrade.
I had my eye on a lot of TP-Link devices for months, including the latest NX-200 , the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G and the brand new FRITZ!Box 6860 5G, but I finally settled on the Spitz.
Its 6 antennas extreme power, construction solidity and above all its incredible web interface really convinced me. Then there is the possibility for the most geeks to access OpenWrt for an even deeper setting.

The system runs OpenWrt 21.02 with Linux 5.4. Note there are two Spitz AX (GL-X3000) routers: the GL-X3000NR with 5G NR connectivity, and the GL-X3000C16 with 4G LTE connectivity only.
The device integrates AdGuard with its statistics that can also be consulted from the site, parental control, tor, external plugins, band aggregation, tower lock, all sorts of DNS configurations, connection statistics with graphs, and I could go on for a long time list everything he does.
Firmware updates are frequent and there is a very active support community.
I intend to bring it to my countryside house where I have no connection except by placing it outside and integrate it with an external antenna. Already here in the city my speed has almost doubled pointing it on N78 cell.
I didn’t take photos of the unboxing but I made an unboxing video.
