Firefox GTK4, we are almost there!!

I have long time been following the possibility of having Firefox uses GTK4 libraries and in these hours Jens Persson finally made it. In the historic bug he is posting detailed updates on the problems he is encountered.

Firefox GTK4 Port by Independent Developer

• Background: A four-year-old bug report requested Firefox’s GTK widget support be updated to GTK4. Mozilla hasn’t prioritized this due to the complexity and limited perceived benefit to users.
• Independent Development: User/developer Jens Persson has been working on a GTK4 port of Firefox for the past two months.
• Status: The port is now functional, with a working screenshot posted. Some features are still missing, and other issues remain to be addressed.
