Photo Editing
10 years have passed since I bought my notebook Dell 7548 and in recent times I have used it very little. It has a beautiful, ultra pixel defined and dense 4K touchscreen monitor.
I decided to use it for touch screen photo editing and it is really very convenient to be able to make finger crops with touch screen and act on the sliders. I tried Aftershot but I will also try with Dark Table, although the performance of the video card worry about my Fujifilm X-T5 RAW processing.
I think so this doesn’t last long and will remain experimentally…
Best Linux RAW editor for Fujifilm cameras
I’m considering various possibilities.
AfterShot is perfect but its development has ended for many years. I have problems when I apply a lot of grain to my jpegs that are displayed altered. I also need to hack the configuration files to fit my Fujifilm X-T5.
I would like to use Capture One but it is not supported by Linux at the moment.
I was thinking about a Windows SSD or partition or a dedicated Mini PC but I don’t want to use Windows and I’m trying to learn darktable.
