Devices/Webcam
Yesterday I was looking for a Webcam on Amazon for connect my PC to Discord without using my smartphone. In the past I have had two webcams, one is a historical relic and the other is mysteriously disappeared after a move.
Then I found that my Mevo Start streaming cam (now Ligitech) could be configured as a remote/wired Webcam and was perfectly recognized by Firefox and all my applications on Arch Linux.
Mevo video quality is superb and full configurable. This is the link to buy Logitech Mevo on Amazon.
With Windows and Mac it is possible to use the Mevo as a Wireless Webcam through specific dedicated applications.
Connect, Plug USB cable and go!!
On Linux is sufficient an USB-C/USB cable to use the wired mode. Connect Mevo Start cam to PC via USB, and after to the same home WiFi network via official application. Finally select Wired Webcam Mode (Beta).
It is possible to use pan, zoom and all the Mevo app advanced video features including HEVC, HDR, video masks and apply all video fine settings. Really Great!!
