I’m returning Bose earbuds for the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones

I returned from Bangkok a few days ago and I’m still waiting the Quiet Confort 2 earbuds return credit from Bose. I have decided to put up for sale my Sony RX100 camera (I took it to China and many other places, I hate to sell it but I can’t stand it sitting there gathering dust) and my current Sony headphones as well as my Dell 4K monitor and more and to buy Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones on Amazon.

I’ve wanted to try them for a long time. The situation in my house is very noisy, I live on a very busy street and there are fan noises everywhere.

I want to try connecting Sony headphones via cable to my SMSL C200 DAC to take advantage of the noise cancellation and use them with app on the terrace and outside.

I’m sure my current Sonys have superior sound quality and I hope to sell them well but the noise I hear in the background from the car and PC fan is really disturbing.

I still have to do the unboxing and I’m curious to try them.

In the meantime, my usual travel videos that I’ve been working on these days are coming out on the YouTube channel (I need them as a personal souvenir but I always share them anyway) and I’m curious to see the GNOME 45 developement and to settle back into the regular rhythm of things ..
