Bose Sound System/Tricks
I have been using the complete Bose home cinema system for several months (Smart Soundbar 900 + Bass Module 700 + Surround Speakers 700) but something was definitely wrong with rear speakers: sound was low and inaudible, it was low and rarely heard only in a few Atmos contents.
In short, I was starting to believe that the Bose Surround Speakers 700 had been a waste of money, i had already read similar opinions in some forums.
Bose Music app
Today I made an unexpected discovery through the Bose Music app.
With this application you can increase or decrease audio levels for each single system component. In general I’ve always kept everything on zero thinking I’d get a more balanced effect.
Sometimes i tried to raise front & bass level by a few points and the rear speakers maximum by 20.
Rear to the Max!
So while watching Bird Box: Barcelona (Netflix Dolby Atmos) I made an experimental attempt by increasing Bose Surround Speakers 700 level to 100% leaving Soundbar and Bass Module at zero.
Bose 3D rear sound comes to life
What happened was totally unexpected and amazing. Audio came to life, the sharp and cutting sounds seemed to come from all places around me, everything was clean and perfect in a 3D spatial audio that I had never heard before also from back and sides.
My regret is not having understood it earlier, in all these months it had been like not having them and the sound was very flat and muddy.
I advise all users of this Bose system to bring rear speakers level to 100 to enter a in new sound dimension and unleash their true potential.
